Does anyone knows anything about the organization and dress of the Swedish and Danish armies from the end of the Thirty Years War to the 1670s (before the Scanian War)? It seems the the Scandinavian Knigdoms were involved in a lot of wars during that time, but it's been kinda hard to find information about the changes in their armies from the TYW to the Scanian War (about which information is easy to find)

I dont have any of this information, but this blogger has done a lot of Scandinavian wargaming, so might have some of the info you're looking for.

This should get you started.

Swedish cavalry would ahve worn the buff "kyller" and, IIRC no helmet.

Thank you all! And does anyone knows about the danish uniforms during the 2nd northern war? There are paintings of the Swedish Siege of Copenhagem, but those were made in the XIX Century…
