Over the past number of weeks, there have been discussions about the latest items under the DBA 3.0 revision; Light Horse rear support and flight after combat. My three Ottoman armies were completed months ago, but have not been bled in battle. In the following two reports (photos) the Ottomans are facing Late Hungarians, next week the Wallachians. link Cheers, Robert |

Nice report thanks for sharing. Is that a hamlet in the upper right-hand corner or a city ? There seems to be quite a bit of terrain on the table, can you tell us how you arrived at the particular items that are there. The new terrain rules are quite interesting and I like to hear how they actually work. Thanks. |

Robert: I may have asked this before
What are you using for your hills? Is that some type of carpet? Joe Collins |

Lorenzo, Thank you for the compliment. I have time to devote to terrain pieces as my collections are now 99.99% painted. However, the terrain project list grows as the 15th century campaign evolves. I have added castles, a portion of a walled city, gatehouse, a fishing village, and cogs planned for the coming month. Cheers, Robert |

Bobgnar, The hamlet is modular, that is I can add more bases to adjust the size of the BUA. A city is planned, but that would have a gatehouse and wall. Trento will be one such BUA. Our 15th century campaign, we have a number of kingdoms, such as Bavaria and Austria that qualify for three geographical categories. So our Late Medieval armies can find themselves fighting in a Forest, Arable or Hilly (Tyrol) area within a given month. Terrain is randomly generated. |

Joe, The hills are not carpet but a 2 mm thick biege mottled floor covering. This same material is easily cut, painted and flocked. These two links will best show the material and its use for terrain features: link link Cheers, |
