Plans are afoot to organise a national "Wings of Glory Day" event at the Doncaster air museum in September this year (Donnie chosen because it has a decent air museum and is fairly central in the UK – probably the weekend of 22/23rd). The event is supported by the UK Wing of the "Wings of Glory Aerodrome". In order to judge whether the event will be viable the organisers are seeking to determine the level of interest. The format isn't decided yet but almost certainly will include many games, possibly a tournament and definitely an attempt to beat the record for the biggest Wings of Glory game held in the UK (believed to be 24 players at the "Time of Aces" event in Cardiff in 2011). If you would be interested please post something here or let me know (or go over to the Aerodrome – wingsofwar.org and indicate your interest there (you do have to register as a "member" but its free and if you are a Wings of Glory player you will probably love the site anyway!) |

I play Canvas Eagles rather than WoW, but if there are traders present selling 1/144 scale items then I would be interested in going. |

I've just seen this, as I'm only ten miles from Donny, I'd be very interested in attending, at least! |
