I have just recieved these pictures of the first greens for my Crimean war British infantry, starting with the command blister, these figures were sculpted by the very talented Aaron Brown who has done figures for Brigade models and the Quar for Zombie Smith,I hope you like the figures as much as I do,these are 28mm in scale and will be released when the centre company and flank company figures are done. cheers Nick |

Always exciting to see new Crimean War ranges emerge and they do look just the ticket. Any chance of French Chasseur d'Afrique? I'm in need. I have a list of other desires on the Crimean front. |

These are great looking figures! And a new range is always exciting. But please keep in mind that the shako plate was not the same for officers and OR's in the British Army of 1854 – officers had a quite different star plate!! Cheers |

Unlucky – I too would love to see someone begin with French for a Crimean War line. There is a plenitude of British and Russian in all the Crimean lines. However, there is also an equal dearth of French in those lines. |

Especially as the French could be used so widely (I'm a FPW 28mm sort of bloke). These are lovely figs though. |

Thanks for the positive comments, the shako plates will be correct when cast, this was my mistake and not Aaron the sculptors, with regard to the French army I have been working on a project to bring to the market figures that gamers want basically it will be a combo of Kickstarter and Eureka's 100 club with a difference,I will post the full details on the forum at the weekend but it would mean any customers who pledge to purchase figures from a new range will be able to purchase the figures at trade prices which would be £1.65 GBPp for mounted and 65p for foot, so 50 customers pledging to buy £30.00 GBP pounds worth of Chasseurs d'Afrique would get the figures made, any body interested can email me at nick@eborminiatures.com cheers Nick |
