Tim at "Old Gunny's Flags" has literally 100s of Federal and Confederate flags to select from. Unfortunately, he doesn't have a website, so you have to e-mail him at Gysgt0848@aol.com and request a catalog which he'll e-mail you. There you'll find the flags organized by State and Regiment, enabling you to quickly find what you're seeking. The catalog is a list of available flags in your choice of scale, but there are no pictures so you'll have to know what you're after or do some research on your own to decide what to order. The catalog includes details on his source for each flag and often notes such as dates a particular flag was carried or captured. Many flags will include battle honor details while others are offered both with and without battle honors.

Simply reply to Tim with your selection and scale requirements and presto, you have some of the nicest flags I've seen. I ordered twenty flags in 20mm scale and was very impressed with the sharp and crisp details and colors in the flags I received. Pricing is very modest too, starting at (as of March 2013) 30 cents for each 6mm flag, $0.40 USD for 10mm, $0.50 USD for 15mm, $0.60 USD for 20mm, $0.70 USD for 25mm, $0.80 USD for 28/30mm, $0.90 USD for 40mm and $1 USD for each 54mm flag. Some smaller cavalry flags are marked 1/2 price as well.

But you don't actually pay Tim; instead you make a donation to a museum of your choice. I hit the website of the NC Museum of History and used PayPal – quick and easy! I then forwarded him the confirmation as proof of payment. Alternatively, you can send him a check made out to your museum of choice and he'll forward it on. Tim was very responsive to my inquires and delivered a first rate product promptly. I highly recommend you consider him with any of your future flag needs.

Wow. I've got to check that out as I'm paying 8 bucks apiece for 54mm flags.
