Played a quick game of asymmetrical warfare fantasy style today.

This time I let the rules control both sides, sort of like playing a game on autopilot.

My goal was to test out some rules for depicting irregulars on the table top for some on going and future projects.

Great bit of story in with the fight.

And it reminded me of Arsuf… with a less able knightly commander.

Parzival, Indeed. That is why the infantry were bewitched : )

A unit of spearmen protecting a unit of bow or crossbowmen would have seen these ruffians off and given the knights a secure base from which to operate.

I'll post in more detail in a reply to your comment.
