Nicely done. I've been thinking of doing up new British using the Esci, PSC and Caesar as well and was curious as to whether the different sets would work well together. It looks, by your photos, as if they will. Thanks! |

I've been thinking of doing up new British using the Esci, PSC and Caesar as well and was curious as to whether the different sets would work well together. I think PSC and Caesar probably aren't too bad together, though PSC do have a somewhat unique sculpting style in their bodily proportions. However, Esci Brit infantry fairly tower over Caesar (and hence PSC, which are smaller again). Caesar 4th from left, Esci immediately to his right:

Can you list the manufacturers in that pic from left to right? |

Left to right they are: Old Airfix (discontinued), new Airfix, Atlantic, Caesar, Esci (now Italeri reissue), Matchbox 1/76th (now Revell reissue), Revell, Valiant. I use Airfix, Esci and Caesar which all work well together, although I replaced all the oversized Tommy guns in the Esci set with rifles, Brens or Sten guns from SHQ's white metal weapons set. None of the above sets have a 2" mortar, so I also bought these guys from Hat
