On Tuesday night, Adie and I had a couple more of games of Bolt Action pitting the British against the Japanese. Some very lucky dice rolls meant that the first scenario went downhill very quickly so we managed to get a second game in.
There are the orders of battle, battle reports and loads more photos on the Scrivsland blog: link |

Very nice set-up. :-) Does Bolt Action have a lunge mines option? A tank-killer team with those might help make the Sherman more circumspect at least

Good batreps with great photos of superbly painted figures and good-looking terrain. Thanks for posting! Cheers Paul |

I do love the look of your figures. Just ordered the rules, looking forward to playing some games. |

Thanks chaps. Dom, there is no lunge mine as such, but you can give infantry Anti-tank grenades. I'm sure I could come up with a suitable lunge mine rule though. |

Might be worth a look – penetration of 150mm or so under optimal conditions, maybe 100mm more typically, is enough to mangle a Sherman if it's careless enough to let them close; much more potent than AT grenades, although the drawbacks to it are pretty apparent

Thanks chaps. The Palm trees were from Minibits and they look to be cake decorations. link |
