I'm looking for a skilled i.e. a very good figure "converter" to change some late imperial Romans to early ones, i'm not lazy, just have no skill what so ever at doing anything but playing Wargames. I can supply the figures and full details of what i want, it's not a huge job could be just head swaps but i want it done well, or maybe new heads sculpt's onto filled down "heads", or moving a few arms to convert them to musicians of units, and depending on what they can do and the cost. These will only be painted and go into my collection, but the converter is welcome to use them as a showcase for his or her skill here in the project/work bench/showcase section as fit's or on their blog or website, when he has finished them, and take the due credit !. I'm willing to pay for peoples time of course, just give me a quote when i give details of what exactly i want. PM if your interested in helping with my little project. or email james1972europe at msn dot com Cheers James |

Sounds like it might be easier to buy some new figures!lol Other than head conversions any other body type conversions are tricky as arms and legs are very dynamic with pelvis and shoulder changes impossible on a 'complete' figure. Ive often tried converting a master to something else and nearly always ended up just making a new figure from scratch. People need more details , make of figs, scale etc. L |

If i could buy some new figures i would, they don't make them, that's why i wanted some converting, seem's that everyone who could do this kinda work has plenty money and has no need of anymore ! All i want is some 28mm figures converting from rank and file into 3 "command figures" so a couple of heads filled down and new ones putting on with green stuff, maybe some other details, just to make them look different. Same kinda thing with another unit of cavalry, maybe 12 figures, taking a unit of Sarmatians and making them look more Roman, i.e. replacing the head, and again making some command figures. Looks like i'll be using your regular designer rather than trying someone else out. Cheers for the reply Leon |

Well if I had the time and they were Aventine figures I'd give it a go, never enough hours in the day! L |
