I have added images of many of my Prussian regiments to my new Blog: horseandmusket2.blogspot.com Thanks for looking. I have started using Black Hussar miniatures (see von Manteuffel blog entry) in addition to Foundry. |

Really lovely stuff! Only problem is now I am getting the urge to see Tricornes and Miters on my tabletop! :-) Peter |

Those Black Hussar Prussians look very nice. One question though: why are the bases so deep? |
| mdavis41 | 27 Feb 2013 7:26 a.m. PST |
I'm using 2 inch square bases, 6 figures per base, per "Maurice" rules. I like to have some space in front of the ranks for staff etc so I tend to base the figures closer to the rear of the base. It also gives some visual separation when you have Brigades in close formation. Thanks everyone for the kind remarks. |

I didn't realize the Prussians had stripped flag poles. |

I like the way the officers are set slightly off to the front. Very dramatic! |

Fantastic stuff. I normally don't care for Floundry figures but you've done them great justice. I love the way the colors pop. Well done! |

Beautiful work. And I second the 'like the way the officers are slightly to the front' and 'spending time at your blog' remarks. Cheers |

Thanks again dear readers. I have spent a lot of time re-shooting all of my newly re-based collection and I'm happy to share. I will be posting many more images of the rest of my Prussians, French, Austrian and ReichsArmee SYW's shortly. Then to other eras

All of the figures in my SYW collection were painted for me by Leuthen Studios. The bases-all mine! |
