Have just finished some OG Paionians (less the flocking and matt varnish). Nothing special painting wise, but nice to get something finished after a long break!
More here: link As always with Old Glory, the figures were quite nice to paint, and if I wasn't so lazy could've been finished in a day or two. The point of difference with these fellows is that the horses are taken from a number of different packs, which gives more variation than you'd get from buying the Paionians only. Thanks for looking, Aaron |

I have a unit or two of those for my Successor armies. Really like the OG figures when painted up. |

Just curious. What makes these figures "Paionians"? Why not just any Greek/Hellenistic light cavalry? |

Good question, IGWARG. It's the saddle cloth that differentiates them – it has a dimpled texture which is thought (by at least one authority) to be sheep or goat skin. |
