My fellow GM's and I invite you to join us in the Kansas City area for the last time we will be running the largest pirate game in The Western hemisphere. Our game club will be moving on to other colossal game projects in the near future but until then don't miss your opportunity to play in this unique event. If other conventions are looking for a spectacular event that can cater to up to 40 players Please contact me through my Blog Profile email link: link

That does look utterly amazing. A shame that I can't make it.

J. Womack,
If you know a Local convention organizer send them our way. I just acquired a 1 ton box truck so we could extend our range a bit.

Is Denver out of Range? Look up Denvergamers.org

wingnut26 Feb 2013 12:48 p.m. PST

Denver? Not too far at all. Although Tacticon is in the middle of opening here at the University of Arkansas and I'm not permitted to Take off that month. Possibly GenghisCon?

I thought you were talking about the government shutting down. Your event looks like a great time.

B.W.X.,
It's all layered insulation foam covered in a sealant:

Take a look around the Game blog, there are a ton of pictures. The foam work is done by Steve Hobbs and I do the landscaping for the islands.

I'd still like to see you make Little Wars…

wingnut26 Feb 2013 10:08 p.m. PST

Flintloque,
My crew and I want to make Little wars. When our group talked about making a decision back in December about Little Wars we didn't have a big enough vehicle to move the game that distance and a caravan was way beyond our fuel budget. We have been fortunate enough to remedy that now with a decommissioned air-force cargo transport. I'm willing to talk to the convention board if they can fit us in Next year (2014).

Wingnut,

I you're really interested in bringing the game to GenghisCon, drop me a line. mj_garland@comcast.net I am the miniatures coordinator for the DGA conventions. I'm not sure where I am going to be able to free up 700 square feet, but we can discuss space and scheduling if you like.

Thanks,
Mike
