I just got a bunch of Foundry cavalry riders, late 19th Century.
Hussars, dragoons, carabiniers, cuirassiers, etc. Riders only.
Since they are intended for a Slobbovian or Quebec GASLIGHT army, I am not too particular about the horse furniture. However, the drivers are "just people", with no saddles or blankets attached.

So, I need horses with blankets and saddles, which would be compatible with Foundry figures from the Perry era. These are the FPW or Maximilian ranges, not yet "giant" 28mm figures.

Any suggestions for who sells horses separately that would work with Foundry figures?

I'd look at Dayton Painting Consortium, they may sell you just the horses.
Also, bob sells horses with blanket and English saddle . You would need to add blanket roll and carbine holster etc..

I believe Dixon's sell their horses seperately and would suit your requirement due to their extensive ACW and wild west range.

Front Rank. With or without blankets, etc. Look at 18th century, too.

Minifigs horses have full tack cast on the horse & may fit the older Foundry figures. Smaller horses would also be correct for 'light' cavalry, rather than the mighty draught horses supplied by many manufacturers.

I'VE USED eSSEX.

Radical thought…why not contact the "new" Foundry and ask what they can do for you? You may be able to obtain the mounts that actually match these miniatures.

After all the terrible things I have said about Foundry n the past? grin
