Looking for some Battalion-sized historical campaigns to play out with FoW and the guys. don't care about the game for which they are written, as long as they aren't such large or small scale that they can't be fit into a Battalion level game. Especially keen on historical map-derived terrain for the boards. Thanks in advance for any leads. Already caught the ones at teh TFL site, looking for more. |

Blitzkrieg Commander is about that scale, I think some of the scenarios are linked and they're free to download from their site. The Operation Sealion Rudi mentioned has been on sale for the last while as a clear-out, I picked them up last spring or so. Recently a fellow put up a huge two-part resource on the Polish Campaign, and I believe there were also scenarios in it that could be turned into a campaign. |

Dig out some old Wargamers Digest magazines. They had the "Battle Stations" WWII scenarios with maps and OOBs that closely resemble what FOW copied..er..uses for OOBs now. There were probably about 20 or so before they started to repeat. |

Read some of the Officail Histories. The US "Green Books" are online. Many chapters follow a Battalion or Regiment (usually 1-2 Battalions) over the course of days or weeks. Look for somethin that is geographically isolated or has natural boundaries (Anvil-Dragoon or even Cobra) |

yeah, I just finally gave away all the old magazines. Including Wargamers Digest. But good thought! Saber6 – wouldn't happen to have a link to the Green Books would you? |
