Which manufacturer makes US infantry useful for the Pacific and Burma campaigns? In 1/72 or 20mm, please. Many thanks. Emilio |

I don't use metal figs, but in plastic there are many manufacturers – Italeri, Revell, Airfix, etc. try Plastic Soldier Review, or the search function on this site for more info

I already checked plastic figs. The problem is that they are in "european" or winter uniforms. |

Not all are in winter uniforms. try U.S Marines by Revell, etc.,for the ultimate U.S. Pacific force. Also, I find that the standard U.S. Infantry work just fine, as long as they aren't paras or in long coats

Warmodelling figurines are great, but marines uniform is different from the infantry. Merrill´s Marauders
now that is interesting. |

Sgt Major's ETO Rangers might also work in the Pacific. They are dressed in light utilities with their trousers worn over the gaiters. I think these could be mixed with the Merill's Marauders to provide figures in helmet. sgmm.biz/Rangers_c_3.html sgmm.biz/Raiders_c_33.html Emilio's question brings up an interesting point: Why are there no regular army figures for the PTO in 20mm or 1/72? This shuts out the battle for New Guinea, the liberation of the Philippines, and several island operations. |

I've been wondering the same thing in regards to 15mm |

Marines of old Combat Miniatures are excellent. You can find them in stonewallfigures.co.uk but I am not sure of the real state of the moulds. A years a ago, I bought Burma Infantry and they were slightly crushed. ¡Suerte! |
