Does anyone know of a good source of Peninsular War scenareos?

Not exactly scenarios, but "Battle Studies in the Peninsula May 1808 – January 1809" by Richard Partridge and Michael Oliver is a good start. The book includes the following battles:

Medina de Rioseco, Bailen, Rolica, Vimeiro, Tudela and Coruna. There are detailed orders of battle (including the Spanish, for a change), descriptions of the battles and numerous maps. The authors are gamers and have suggestions for scenario rules. They didn't presume a single set of rules so you will have to do some work, but you can make good scenarios for these battles from this book.

David Gates' "The Spanish Ulcer" is a good trove, especially wrt the Spaniards.

I posted some that I did for the Polemos Napoleonic rules set on its Yahoo! group link They should be easily enough adaptable to your favourite rule set however.

There are some good ones for Grande Armee here: link though they should work pretty easily with other big battle rules.

the general de brigade scenario books from partizan press are very good , the latest book has many peninsula battles .

"Campaigning with the Duke of Wellington and Featherstone" isn't bad, either.

Like Davout I'd suggest Featherstone's book.

Then there is always Oman.

I'm in the same boat. Would you be looking for custom scenarios or historical ones?

I'd be happy to exchange some ideas

I did a series of wargames based on Wellington's Battles, mostly in the peninsula, a few years ago.

They are posted on a blog with each battle having a short historical introduction and a brief order of battle. There is then a move by move description of the wargame.

I would stress that they are not historical refights of the actual battle. They are wargames based on the battle, using similar scenery and objectives. The historical order of battle is shown, plus the wargame one.

This series was fought using my own wargame rules which are designed to fight large battles using the relatively small figures in my collection and on my 6x6 foot wargames table using a set of 30 or so scenic squares. So there are a lot of compromises.

The series covers the following battles:

Rolica
Vimerio
Talavera
Busaco
Fuentes de Orono
Albuera
Salamanca
Vitoria
Souaren
San Marcial
Nive
Orthez
Toulouse
Waterloo

I had not intended to include Waterloo, but it seemed a fitting battle to end the series.
