I like them but there is something about the density of the face paint that does not seem right somehow. Can't quite put my finger on it.

Agree with vojvoda.Need "depth"…maybe try an overall wash (or dip like AP) to get into the recesses and then a highlight? Those are Old Glory right? Their Native Americans are some of their best sculpts (IMHO)
