I'd say go with these

The corners won't chip paint or dent terrain or boards.

Armand I bet they have a biased roll… They have drilled pips which means removed metal, equal metal removal (depth of drilled holes) on each face might balance them.

Bad news handling aluminum, there is enough daily exposure without using it for gaming link

I think you'd be hard pressed to get over exposed to aluminum in your daily life. Even with rolling some dice made of it.

I think the concern is for people who work in facilities that machine and work on aluminum. These guys are exposed to airborne aluminum as well as surface contact for 8-10 hours a day.

I'm exposed to a good bit myself but I don't think I'll have any problems with over exposure.

Can you imagine having 20 or 40 or more of these for those "Buckets of Dice" games? Even aluminum would get heavy in large numbers. Aside from the novelty, I don't see any advantage over plastic…they might even wear faster and start looking shabby once they start getting nicked and scratched.
