I guess I'm no Ghingis Khan. The rules work well, though. I need to play them more often in order to get them out a play testing stage.

Great AAR – thanks. But hey you would need to be Khubilai Khan rather than his grandfather if you were taking on the Japanese historically ;) And the Samurai would have to be 13th century like TAG or similar…

I've always found Mongols tricky to win with, no matter the ruleset. Which is funny, given the historical evidence of their prowess.
