The idea behind this group is to bring everyone that is getting into Victorian Science Fiction and Steampunk in 15mm and 18mm together. There are a lot of people doing a lot of great things. Writing rules, making miniatures, designing vehicles and so many other things. At this point I think the sub genre can use a place for everyone to get together and trade ideas and information.

I'll jump in. Haven't done much with that subgenre yet, but will definitely play a few 15mm games of In Her Majesty's Name when it's released.

I would suggest The Hive and the Flame, which is out now. But I would hardly be unbiased. Plus they are too different games in style and scope.

Please forward this new Yahoo! Group's notice to any manufacturers as well

Thanks

It seems that interest in the scale and period is beginning to grow. I'd like this list to provide a "one stop shop" for everyone who is making anything for the genre in this scale. That includes straight period historicals, horror, Steampunk, terrain and such. It will be a place to showcase new items, ask for customer feedback and such.

I think that the niche will be big enough for everyone to do well. I think if we feed the niche we will make it bigger and as they say "A rising tide raises all boats"

If you know of anyone who would be interested in this, either a consumer or a producer please let them now about the list.
