Great post kmfrye. I guess had the Centauri been protecting Ragesh 3 instead of the Shadows the war might have ended a little differently.

My parents….sometimes….allowed me to stay up late on Fridays to watch this strange new show called "Star Trek". It was the first of many.

Over the years, I don't think I have missed any sci-fi series on TV – recognizing the fact that 95% were pure drivel. Beggars can't be too choosy

That said, B5 is, without doubt, the best and most respectful science fiction I have ever seen on TV.

20 years – holy crap.

It's was my favourite sci-fi TV show right up to the point Firefly came out.

It just seems such a shame that we have lost so many of the pivotal actors within the show. Even TOS seems to be doing better and that's over twice as old…

Still – if you've gotta go – I can't think of many things better than a series like that to be the one people remember you for.

I'm suprised B5 hasen't been slated for Blu-Ray yet, but I guess there is hope as ST TNG just started coming out.

I remember some one said there will be no B5 blu-ray because of the format B5 was filmed in. But that sounds like rubbish, like they can't convert and reformat things with technology today. My hope is their waiting for data crystals to become a real technology.

Babylon 5 is still one of my all-time favorite shows. Hard to believe it started 20 years ago.
