At the Fanaticus Forum, I have started a topic covering the campaign between Oudinot and Wittgenstein.

Those gamers starting to dabble in this period may find the uniform, flag and OB links useful.

For the past five years, we have used the DBA-HX variant for our musket period battles and campaigns and are very pleased with them.

The small number of units lacking have been ordered, so by Spring we should be able to start the campaign.

Cheers,
Robert

Looks good. I am giving serious consideration to the rules as well; I simply don't have the time or desire to paint 1,000 figures in order to fight a large battle.

That was certainly one aspect that prompted our moving from WRG to the DBA variant. Most gamers have a perception that DBA must be played with twelve elements, but with the big battle option your don't have those restrictions.

The Northern campaign offers a lot of interesting options as both armies served as a link between their respective main army and MacDonald and Essen facing off at Riga.

Plenty of maneuvering, skirmishes and battles to keep a gamer busy.

Cheers,
