I had heard over a year ago that Great War Miniatures would be doing Crimean War French to go with their impressive line of British and Russian figures. Anyone know anything on that particular rumor? |

That would be great(though not so much for my budget!). That said, the releases seem to have slowed a bit with Great War. Perhaps taking a breather? |

I am ready to pounce just as soon as they release the Chasseurs d'Afrique. I'm a big fan and have bought all of Crimean army from them thus far for Balaclava – all that they have which I need. It seems from Nick's site thst they every intention of doing so. It's not like I don't have plenty of painting ahead of me in the meantime. |

It would be great to get an update from Dave A about what is happeneing. Ever since the big display at Salute last year, the GWM releases seem to have petered out. Its a pity as there are still alot of releases that Id love to see like standing British command to go with all the firing line troops, the heavy brigade, more artillery and the entire french army! It has been 10 months (May) I believe, since the last Great War releases. Although they were very regular (every month) up to that point. I was buying the Crimean Russians, so maybe the Brits got some releases since then. Anyway, hope we see some more. I've just about caught up with my painting. |

If they're anything like the others in the range they will be absolutely gorgeous. Never wanted to play the Crimean War until I saw a few battalions of very well painted Russians and British in the flesh (or in the lead?). |
