As with all games, they use a little of this and a little of that. In that flavor I present a game mainly based on T&T for the fighting, slightly based on MS&PE for the flintlocks and to give it a unique Napoleonic flavor; Sharp Practice by TOO FAT Lardies company.
None of which you actually need to know about as I'll do all the dice rolling for you. All you have to provide is the RP portion and intentions.
Also all monies will be figured in Pounds, Shillings and Pence. Not accurate for the French but it gets me out of having two pay systems.
I'll be running weekly turns posting on Sunday. Drop-dead day for your posts is Friday 4pm (PST). The game is totally free of charge. The only payment I wish for is you enjoy yourself.
Depending on the forces that join, this will either be an PVE game or if we get enough players for both sides a PVP game. The types of missions I'm looking towards is; attacking a ship in port, blowing up an ammo dump, Attacking a small fortress, Bridge blowing, intell gathering, supply gathering etc…

The French 5 gun sloop ABELARD is recruiting. We already have a Ens. as 1st LT.(My guy – NPC), Ships clerk (My guy – NPC) and a 2nd mate.
Looking for a LT to be our Captain, a 1st mate and some crew members.
The British are looking for a few good men to make up a land based unit.
