After a, while expensive, pretty decent looking warriors release, GW decided to do a 180 degree turn and make some models for a Dr Suess book (aka their daemons)

The winner has to be the "cannon" of khorne for "I wonder what they sniffed when they designed this"

Needs more boobies- I mean skulls.

That Burning Chariot of Tzeentch is pretty wild! Thinking this will go on the "definitely" list!

Damon.

It looks like they ripped them from John Blanche's sketchbook. Some of them remind me of the sketches he did in the old Lost and the Damned and the Slaves of Darkness books.

I really like the Plague drones of Nurgle. It is also good to see the Heralds.

I kind of like them… some of them at least… I'm guessing they're fragile resin crap though… not plastic?

RazorMind19 Feb 2013 7:03 p.m. PST

bleh and meh

The Plague Drones remind me of the Black Faeries that RAFM did for RIFTS:

I hate those drones. They should just release the the Forgeworld Blight drone in plastic already.

The heralds are neat. Rest is meh.

Opinion may change as a family member collects Khornate stuff and has me paint it….. so, I'll probably end up painting one or two of those chariot kits in the near future.

Doubt it. Every other model of a similar size to those chariots that's come out in the last year or so has been plastic. Most likely, both Tzeentch chariots will come from the same kit; same for th Khorne ones.

I like the heralds everything else is just a bit over the top for my tastes. I will confess long ago when I first got into
Warhammer Fantasy Battle and the two hard bound books for Chaos (Lost and the Damned and Slaves to Darkness) came out I would have loved to have some models like these as it would have fit well with the concept of Chaos in the Warhammer universe. However, I think my tastes have matured and these just do not do it for me.

The stuff is awesome. John Blanche LSD trips come to life! if you like the style, they are sweet. Plague drones are my favorite. All much better than the Godzilla refugee flier they came out with for the CSM.

I'm waiting on the new Bloodthirstir model.

Pictors Studio20 Feb 2013 4:18 p.m. PST

The chariots of Khorne and Tzeentch are almost certainly going to be in plastic. I'd imagine from their size that the drones will be too. Tough to say about the heralds.

Meh, not so bad. A little overwrought for my taste, but nice models. I prefer the older, somewhat less busy, sculpts.
