It's already been said several times but for the sake of emphasis I'll add my echo. Don't read Tango if you don't want to. Stiffle him if you lean that way. But please stop trying to muzzle someone who is a service to at least a hefty proportion of the membership. |

By the way, I thought that "Needs More Boobies" WAS his own page

I enjoy Tango's posts, not least because he looks beyond the English-speaking areas of the internet. I get to see many good things I would never be able to find myself. |

John – glad you said that, as I was kind of wondering
. But it saves me the aggro of finding them :-) |

Can't stand 99.8% of what he posts, and I renew my plea for a way to eliminate thread topics started by a stifled member. It's just too much clutter and junk. Alerting us that some obscure book at Amazon has only ten copies of current stock remaining? Come on. |

Completely agree with the previous poster. That would actually cure this issue immediately. People who love his posts could then enjoy them. People like me who find them very self-indulgent and irritating would be able to avoid them so as not to have to post complaints about them. Everybody wins. |

I am continually amazed by those who expect things (TMP, their favorite wargame magazine, Life in general) to be tailored to their specific tastes. Such a life must be an endless series of disappointments. The vast majority of the postings on TMP are of no interest to me, either because of their nature or the subject matter, but I do not consider them "clutter and junk"; nor, presumably do the people posting and reading them. I simply navigate around them by going directly to the boards that interest me, and skipping the posts that I don't think have anything to offer. Readers of TMP who lack the enterprise to put a couple clicks of effort into their browsing will get no sympathy from me. |

Are Tango's posts annoying? possibly? Are the repeated complaints about his posts annoying? Definitely!! As long as he isn't breaking the site rules then he is as free as anyone else to post new topics. Personally I would like the editor to put a stop to these threads because as a collection they do amount to a personal attack on a member. Repeatedly having ago at someone who'se only crime is to post a lot of new posts is distasteful. As War Artisan and loads of others have said, it takes so little effort to ignore Tango's threads if you wish to do so. I'm not into fantasy or sci-fi, so I ignore those posts, but if I accidentally click on one e.g. an article in the terrain section, I just press the back button
not exactly triring or stressful is it! |

Simple solution: don't read the posts if you're annoyed by them. Big deal. Talk about wasting more TMP space on useless topics! |

The 'unknown' factor is part of the joy and fun of Tango01's posts. You don't know what you are going to find and most of the posts have been very enjoyable indeed. Long may he continue. And it is certainly nice to see him not being stifled for his posts. Death to the Stifle! |

Of course, there's nothing at all suspicious about the now-silent Original Poster, who was at least an occasional contributor until 2011 but then disappeared, only to show up almost two years later for this single, match-in-a-gas-can post. Nothing deliberately provocative about that at all. Nope. |
