So I've used the Simple Green green coloured cleaning liquid to great success for stripping paint off models . Recently the local store has stopped stocking the green stuff , will the orange stuff work just as well ? Apart from making my models smell citrus fresh ?

cheers Tom

I really can't say, but I would compare the ingredients.

You can also use Purple Power, which in my opinion works better.

I've used it to strip mostly microarmor and works pretty well, though it's hard to get paint out of some of the tighter spots.

If you plan to use it on plastics, be very careful. I've tried some environmentally friendly citrus cleaners on plastic and they tend to melt it.

Be sure its not paint stipper. That will melt plastic and might etch some metals
