I think we'd all agree that well-executed, fluttering banners add color and pageantry to our table top armies. So I wasn't sure what I was going to do for my Westerosi armies. Until I remembered I have friends with skills.

Friends with skills are a treasure!

And I completely agree that banners make a tremendous difference. That's why my ca.1900 British Raj forces will have colours, even though the Brits had officially stopped carrying colours years before.
