Some Dreadball miniatures I painted up for a customer. Not exactly my favorite miniatures to assemble or paint.

Lovely work.
Any insight on challenges you faced since you mentioned they weren't favorites for assembly? :)

The mold lines are just terrible.

Yes, any time I think, "plastics are great!", I am quickly reminded that even the tidy ones take three times as long to clean as metal.

I have been cleaning my DB ones one or two to a sitting. Any more and I want to throw them. I will be lucky to get done with what I have when the second wave of my Kickstater arrives.

Don't really care for the fine (e.g., not much high-to-low gradient) detailing, either. No fun to paint AT ALL.

Wow. That don't sound good.

They aren't the worst miniatures I've tried to clean up, but they aren't as bad as I've heard some people complaining about. I suspect that some are much better than others, as I've heard some people say they had very little to clean up. I too will have a hard time getting mine all cleaned up before wave two hits.

Karnophage, so your client didn't have the Corporation team as well or have you just not painted it yet?

I was just not happy with the color scheme on the Corporate team. I painted them up in the colors the client wanted and he was happy with them. See my post on the test miniatures.
