So how are y'all basing 6mm figures individually? |

I am trying an experiment on 1/2" squares using magnetic business cards. I put Gorilla Glue super glue on in order to glue down coarse sand, then cover it with matt varnish (to fill in the gaps, but not too much). So far this seems like it does not cause the base to warp, like white glue can. In the past I also have a 3/4" hole punch (from a craft store) and punch out craft foam sheet and use those discs as bases. I then put magnetic sheet under them so I can store the figures better. I decided to try and switch because I found that no matter how thick the base, fingers will never grip a base that small. So better to varnish the figure well and keep the base small and thin. Now for bases where there are three figures on, I use 1" wooden discs, similar to the tiddly winks above, and am able to grab the base with my sausage-like fingers. |

10mm squares made from artists mounting board with magnetic strip underneath. |

I just use a hole punch to punch out disks of magnetic sheet and mount them directly on that.

I individually base my 6mm infantry the same way as Angel Barracks does, 12mm counters

I use #6 washers or quarter inch squares of vinyl tile. My figs don't look quite so nice as most of these guys! |

#8 washers, 12mm counters, or pennies for larger-sized figures. |

I use M6 washers, most 6mm figures bases are around 6mm, which fit nicely in to the the hole of the washer which can help hide the thickness of the base. Some of my DR human troops have bases that are about 2-2.5mm thick, this saves lots of filing. The OD of a M6 washer is about 12.5mm. The other advantage is that is adds a little extra weight to the figures. |

I use buttons, just fill in the holes with glue or epoxy. |
