Doesn't a 6mm scifi board make a Dirtside one superfluous? Nobody says you have to play Dirtside in 6mm scale. Nobody says all 6mm games have to use Dirtside rules. Dirtside can be used for non-SF games (I've heard of a WWII variant). |

Ok, other than using 3mm figs which is a very recent happening have you ever heard of more than an individual here or there playing Dirtside in anything other than 6mm? I think the 6mm scifi board makes sense. But adding a Dirtside board is IMHO an unneeded balkanization of the boards. Adding a 3mm board would be more consistent than simply a Dirtside one Bill. Nobody says you have to play Dirtside in 6mm scale. It's a valid point. I think I've used it more with 15mm than 6mm over the last four years or so – but I don't get much DS2 gaming in these days. My circle of friends has drifted in other directions, to my regret. |
