Thank you gents! I have tried very hard to put out a product I would be pleased with if I purchased it.

Praise coming from such well established people is really wonderful!

Thanks again!

Well done! And the price cut shifts it from my ‘would like it' to my ‘buy it now' list.

Looks exciting. Where do I buy the core Sword and Flame rules?

tsofian15 Feb 2013 7:56 p.m. PST

Sword and the flame and 800 fighting Englishman are available from sergeants three

Whatisitgood4atwork15 Feb 2013 9:44 p.m. PST

Just a clarification. You say you need TSATF and/or 800 FE to play. I have TSATF. Is that enough, or do you think that having 800 FE as well would add more to the game?

Thanks.

tsofian16 Feb 2013 5:25 a.m. PST

Tsatf is enough
The book supports both those rule sets

tsofian16 Feb 2013 6:25 a.m. PST

I booted up my machine, rather than try on the smart phone, so let me give a better answer to Whatisgood4atwork

The Hive and the Flame has material for both TSaTF and 800 FE. If you have either you can play either. You do not need both. It ALSO includes a section called Steam, Steel and Stone which adds land, air and sea fighting machines to either of those games. One of the main differences between TSaTF and 800 FE is the point of view of the players. In the former the players are Junior Officers commanding small units. In the latter they are field Grade officers. In the vehicles section we recognize that difference and include command and control rules for both those scales.

The core games-The Sword and the Flame and 800 Fighting Englishmen can be found here

Thanks for your answer tsofian. I bought your supplement last night and am looking at them now.

tsofian16 Feb 2013 6:12 p.m. PST

I'm always pleased to help out. Thank you for your purchase. I hope you enjoy the product. Please let me know what you think. If you could be gentle that would be nice. :-)

tsofian17 Feb 2013 10:42 a.m. PST

One thing we have tried very hard to do is improve each product as we have gone forward. We have some big ideas for this year, including Venus source book and ground vehicle book. The AFV book will also include as much real data on late Victorian artillery as I can find. We hope the Venus book will be out by Origins and the Vehicles book by October.
