Does anyone remember this game? I used to have it and can't seem to find it, I know Flagship bought out Seventh Street Games (the original publisher). I was just hoping to find out if the models are still available other than through ebay and what not. link

I have one of the mecha that I bought at a huge discount years ago, but I haven't assembled or painted it yet. Never saw the rules. |

You'd probably be best off asking Mark from Scale Creep about this. I think I've still got a copy stowed somewhere, but no minis. Very solid rules set, and the SWE is a fascinating setting with a very plausible justification for mecha. My 2nd favorite anime mecha game, just a bit behind Mekton Zeta. |

They are on Ebay often enough. I've got both the books and a bunch of the models. Never got a chance to play though of course. The last few models I saw on ebay were on the expensive side though. Sellers had the rare OOP thing going. |

Given that Mecha was designed to use commercially available model kits and toys, I wonder if it might be simpler to grab a collection of Gundams (and similar) and dress them up a bit for an Aztec look? Shields with feathers, some odd melee weapons, and lots of bright colors would do the trick. |

The rules, as noted, are still available from me at Scale Creep Miniatures (PDF only – via e-mail as I have not worked out the whole "instant download" thing yet). The minis are out of production. I have a set somewhere but no molds, masters or greens. |

Remember the game? I'm gaming with its creator tomorrow. He'll be running his new game at the Dundracon convention. Check out the game here skullandcrown.blogspot.com Flagship didn't buy out Seventh Street, it was just a reorg of almost all the same people. |

I was one of the designers and authors of the game. Thanks for all the kind comments about the rules! You should check old games stores that might have some stock left. But we designed the game to be used with kit bashed Macross and Gundam plastic kits. They were a lot cheaper back then but the kits are even nicer today. I hope Scale Creep supports the rules in the future. |

Thanks everyone for the input. Mark- Thanks for the heads up, I'll just have scare up the models as I can. Necron 99- The main thing that I liked (besides the rules) was the mecha design and the world it was set in. I like the idea of using Aztecs as inspiration for the world setting. Great game! BlackCavalier- Thanks for the link! I like the wooden soldiers a lot! |

Huh – looky what Charles Oines has been up to over on his Shapeways store: link link Much too small to work with the old SWE mechs, and technically Mayan, not Aztech, but Spaeways sculpts can be easily rescaled, and maybe if he gets enough interest someone might produce larger ones in resin or resin/metsl hybrid form. |

Yeah the world was a lot of fun. Our housemate in college had doodled some Aztec mechs and we instantly loved the idea. Since we could never afford the rights to Macross or Gundam we decided to invent our own world! |

You know, I think I remember seeing this game years and years ago
was it at Dundracon? Wow, Im getting old. I remember these mechs flying around on tall wooden sticks to mark elevations, and they had the very Aztek theme
cool! I will mention this to Mr. Foss when next I see him! |
