Big trouble at the Battle of Dongolo, Mafrica. link Troopers Ham and Corey have been sent for reinforcements a day's march away. Respectfully, Bill |

So they made it to the reinforcements

Colonel Keene: "We heard low rumbling cannon fire to the east yesterday. None today." The silence is ominous. No doubt there is some drama in play back at Dongolo. I look forward to the conclusion. |

Bill, you are a master story teller. You give us enough to get hooked, but never reveal too much of the story, which brings us back wanting more. |

Thank you everyone for your interest and appreciated comments. --- Early on several writers here and on the blog thought the series resembled Saturday morning serial motion pictures. In those days people would go to theaters on Saturdays week after week to advance the previous Saturday's story. That's kind of what is being done here. --- Television shows in the USA sometimes use that format a little when a story is continued for several related episodes. --- Your next story advancement is photographed, mostly written and nearly ready to be posted. --- Respectfully, Bill |
