I have just added a battle report ( link ) to my blog ( link ). The battle was an action between a small ironclad battleship and a coastal defence fortress armed with medium calibre guns.

The following photograph gives a flavour of the action:

Neat little battle – does seem to capture very nicely the feel of ironclad warfare!

Who makes the hexes?

Nice battle report. What scale is it and, I'll ask too, Who makes the hexes?

Bob the Temple Builder14 Feb 2013 10:42 a.m. PST

The hexes and the scenary are made by Kallistra (they are all part of the Hexon II rnge). The warship is scratch-built as are the coastal defence guns. The figures are 15mm-scale Essex Miniatures.
