Is anyone (including David) know and are willing to share how these rules for 2400 scale will compare to FORM LINE OF BATTLE? |

Completely different (if you mean the fleet scale rules I think I mentioned some time back). They are also a set in a severe case of flux at the moment so even I don't know how they are going to turn out!!! |

Looking forward to them as I have a Spanish fleet that needs action! |

Maybe they should visit their *ahem* wives in port, if you know what I mean. Nudge, nudge.

Completely different? In what way? Is it meant to be quicker for bigger fleets? Is it the same speed of play just different mechanics? Love to know more. I have several fleets and play regularly. Played most rule sets but interested in this one. |

David – I think I missed that you were even working on these! I am (just now) getting back into age of sail stuff – can you give us some details (and release date??) of the new rules? Cheers, Scott |

Ok, calm down chaps, I have been working on a set of fast play fleet level actions where detail at the individual ship level is rather more abstract than usual. It is a work in progress, it has a looooong way to go and it may never see the light of day as far as publishing is concerned. And as you may see elsewhere my attention has been drawn to the African Lakes just now

And here I was hoping to get a game in against Shagnasty this weekend. |
