I put in an order for a selection of minis from Combat Wombat and received the box last week. WOW! Totally impressed with the quality, the look and size of the minis. Scotty does a great job and his communication while the order was being produced was just top notch, making the wait time (of about 4 weeks) go by fairly quick. Well worth the wait and at a cost that didn't break the bank. Put me down as Combat Wombat follower!! Hooah!

Eli Arndt13 Feb 2013 11:43 a.m. PST

Scotty is one of the best guys in the biz, IMHO.

Ditto i have nothing but praise for him i have placed a couple of orders in the past with Scotty and have been very pleased with his products and friendly service, im currently planing to make another order with him once i have cleared a couple of unexpected bills that appeared through the letter box last week.

Once I am caught up with all the recent 15mm sci-fi I have purchased there are some of his minis I am very interested in adding to my collection.

Scotty is an awesome guy! Definitely makes great minis and you can't beat his prices thumbs up He also has outstanding customer service skills. I ordered some armor last year around the time he released his not-Death Star terrain(he was swamped with those orders) and there was a mix-up on my order. I e-mailed him and Scotty fixed the mistake ASAP and he even included some bonus kits. I highly recommend Combat Wombat Miniatures!

@Keith – when can we get a set of the tank crews? 8^)

Armiesarmy13 Feb 2013 1:24 p.m. PST

ha….

that wasnt very subtle was it….

honestly though…they were for my personal use and simply a cut down from some other figures. Its a simple conversion of my operators crew! If id want to sell them, id have to do a little work to get them up to scratch and help from Scotty

Keith

artbraune13 Feb 2013 1:28 p.m. PST

@Keith – looking forward to whatever you decide to do with them.

Disco Joe13 Feb 2013 1:32 p.m. PST

He's a great guy, one of the best in the business. I have several of his vehicles. Wish I had them all but Im out of storage space in the 'Man Cave' lol

BlackWidowPilot Fezian13 Feb 2013 6:31 p.m. PST

Bits? Yup. I've been using his turned metal barrels for my various kitbashing projects, and they are first rate! Stellar service, a good price, and his models look sooo tempting despite my allergies to most resins…evil grin

Here is one of his MBT's with a converted Armies Army Militia Tanker. Works rather well size wise. I'm going to play with converting some more.

Nice paintjob there ArmiesArmy. I went ahead and ordered some more – love those Type 123 tanks – so Soviet! I'd love to see more of people's Combat Wombat finished pieces.

AVAMANGO16 Feb 2013 12:48 a.m. PST

Talk about great minds i asked Scotty about these 123 Type tanks just last week, i want to pick a 3 pack up also for my Sci-fi soviets. I just cant decide to go Tracked or Grav/Hover though.

Armiesarmy16 Feb 2013 2:46 a.m. PST

I'm going tracked with the militia and hover with guard forces

I love the size and style and cost. Can't be beaten in my opinion

Howling Hank17 Feb 2013 12:48 a.m. PST

I went tracked/wheeled for all my vehicles, though I would say that any of 'em would look great as a Grav/Hover.
