I am dusting my 1/600th aircraft out again for some action over the Bekaa amongst other places. Any throw any light on Israeli CSAR capability that would have been in place to cover Mole Cricket 19 or other raids?

From what I have found so far Unit 669 would seem to be the only unit with that capability in its extraction flight.

For 1980's scenarios would it have been CH53 or Bell 414s. Do/did the Israelis have a similar concept to the USAF of escort with dedicated Suppression aircraft and if so what would it have been.
