My Napoleonic Wargames Rules called, "Grand Manoeuvre" have a new home at grandmanoeuvre.co.uk where they are now available. My new website has nine free Napoleonic scenarios available for Grand Manoeuvre games. There are three game play examples illustrating how the rules work for; infantry, cavalry and artillery combats and another game example in which the role of regulating battalions is described. The site has a photo gallery of Grand Manoeuvre games, a blog and a forum and in the previous rules updates, which are available as downloads you can find some sample pages of the rules. The Grand Manoeuvre website design is by Andy Cummings. |

What size are infantry battalions? All the same size or do they vary? |

Normally the game standard is 4 bases, but 6 is a possible variant. The stanadard four bases can be varied to suit large and small units – and I have done this in some of the game scenarios. I could send you a PDF from the rules introduction for unit and figure basing if you "PM" me. Regards, Mike. |
