While trying to finish my NYW project, I'm also trying to paint up both sides for the Battle of Flodden as well as tons of other stuff! Sound familiar???????
Here's a unit of Border Horse, they're 15mm Essex figures. The Bastard Heron's Border Reivers.
There's a few more pics on my blog as well. The banner can also be downloaded from my blogsite.

Excellent job! I'm re-reading G. M. Fraser's The Steel Bonnets to present @ my MilHist book club this month, and these really help capture the "feel" of the Borderers.

You might enjoy G. M. Fraser's novella The Candlemass Road it has a very nice feel to it and Border mayhem galore.
