I went through the whole process last time and they seemed to clear it up. This time, I just did a tracert and it stops at a different point rather than a Worldnet router (which would be AT&T). I don't know which way to go now

Yesterday I sent in an email to the AT&T address Mark sent me requesting to unblock star-ranger.com but no work back from them yet. Another user gave me a link to fill out a form to request that the site be unblocked, but that URL automatically forwarded to a site for helping users with blocked email. Are you guys still blocked out? |

Yeah Dean still blocked--was told could take up to a week to fix. My reply is if no SCN by Thursday then send someone over to rip all ATT equipment outta my house--pissed off paying for internet access and ATT puts block on your site. Sure Verizon will either offer me a bundle or a smartphone for me to access SCN. Again,if anyone needs contact info for ATT execs to start making them aware they need to fox this problem, lemme know as I got a bunch of emails and phone numbers for CEO,Board members, and other assorted higher-level folks in ATT. Thanks for sending ATT the email Dean. |

I'm still blocked as well. I didn't get any help from AT&T last time. How were you able to contact the CEO? |
| BThree | 21 Apr 2013 8:24 a.m. PST |
Still blocked here too. :( |
| thedrake | 21 Apr 2013 4:27 p.m. PST |
Google is your friend: link The more emails they get on Monday morning the quicker they should get to it,I believe
probably not but if folks start making it the CEO's problem maybe he will tell someone to get it fixed! |

Just got call from ATT--they claim the block is due to webhost provider having an infected machine so until the webhost for SCN fixes their machine/server ATT will not remove the block for their customers. Dean, sent you an email about this. Thx, Mark |

Your welcome---actively looking for a new web provider myself as ATT sux. Tired of not having full web access(even though being charged for it!) and getting jacked around by ATT as well. |

Are they blocking Star Ranger by DNS name? When Comcast had a DNS (name resolution) outage a couple years ago, I switched to Google's DNS Servers. This simple configuration change can't hurt you, and may fix the issue depending on how they are preventing you from reaching the website. link If you are concerned about breaking something, just make sure you take a screen cap of your current settings and you can always change back. |

Herod01, I tried what you suggested and still blocked--thanks for the advice though. They say they are blocking it as webhost provider has an infected machine on their server;not sure how if they doing it by the way you described but is still blocked. |
| TheStarRanger | 22 Apr 2013 8:48 p.m. PST |
I created a ticket to my web host about this 'infected machine' server issue and we will see if my host will work with AT&T to get this fixed. |
| tkdguy | 22 Apr 2013 9:55 p.m. PST |
Thanks, Dean. Hopefully, this can be fixed soon. |
| TheStarRanger | 23 Apr 2013 5:51 a.m. PST |
With all the issues of people getting blocked, my host is going to move the IP address of my site to a new one that should not be blocked. This will cause the site to be 'down' for up to 24 hours as the new location it propagated throughout the web (as the web gets updated with the new location) so you may have some issues getting to the site but it will be temporary. Thanks for your patience in helping everyone access the site. |
