I found some very interesting molds for things like trees, animals, and even some vehicles. I was wondering if anyone has tried to use these or similar plastic molds with model clay or green stuff? Just thinking it might be a cheap and easy way to make some scenery items. |

I bought a plastic ice cube tray that made Easter Island heads, and used that with hydrocal. It worked fine. Grelber |

So I have given this a try once so far with Mk model clay. I worked out okay, except it is hard to remove from the mold without the clay breaking up. Still working out that one. |

Okay, after letting the mold sit in the freezer for a couple hours the clay hardened enough to remove in a single piece. Next I am going to try some talc in the mold and see if that makes it easier to remove. |

I found them on a sight called Sugercraft. I was looking for cheap trees and stumbled onto the candy molds. |
