I posted ( market place) to see if anyone was willing to part with an Old crow drop ship . There were no takers ( can't blame anyone it is a cool piece) . so now I would like a drop ship for my Grymn . I am a lousy converter which makes it difficult .
I know of the
Grendal corvis
The big GZG one by Dreamscape
a\Long OOP DLD monster one
are there any others ?
Suggestions are welcome thanks Dave

Avenger's Quinjet for $30. USD

Can be used in multiple scales, from 15mm – 28mm, and it looks great.

Sold in local toy stores, Walmart, and Target.

I have used some Tau fliers for my Grymn airborne troops to use:

There are also a few others from GW/Forgeworld that you could use… but really, the scope is limited :(

That T-2 model isn't big enough for 28mm though, is it? I've got several versions in different scales but even the biggest wouldn't work for anything over 15mm… unless you do some work on the little windows up front.

Here's a pic of the Quinjet:

A beautiful piece of machinery.

I second the Quinjet.

The old one or the new 'doormobile' one? This was just released –

The Hasbro Transformers Dark of the Moon Autobot Ark seems like it would make a good dropship for 28mm. It might need a little cosmetic work to disguise its origins. It's more rugged-looking than the sleek lines of the Quinjet.

The box it comes in is about a foot long, to give a rough idea of its size.

I am tempted to use these for some Grymn ships.

All you need to do is get the Film version, fill in the windows with putty and add a plastic tea-spoon to the front and it quickly becomes 28mm scaled. I trimmed a bit off the tail and glued everything shut too…

There is plenty of space in it for a small platoon of troops.

Covert Walrus – I think he means this one:

Oooooo, I like your mod Insomniac!

How long is the T2?

Insomniac10 Feb 2013 11:58 p.m. PST

About 11" long (give or take an eighth).

The Alien "Hunter Killer" flyer toy is a great model. and it has nice landing gear and moving engines. Here's how it looks alongside 28mm figs.

I bought a couple and may have an extra. PM me if you're interested.
