Based on Perry's new release, I wonder who (if anyone) also makes 28mm "Retreat from Moscow" type figures and accessories. Thanks.

Sash and Sabre have a range, but they are 40mm.

I'd have thought it would be good fun making your own from bits and bobs of leftover plastic sets? Old guard grenadier body…hussar head (or carabinier or whatever)…gauntlet dragoon hands holding carbine…

the world's your oyster!

Can u simply use French in greatcoats and Russians in greatcoats to make up some of what is missing?

I'd be looking for more of a skirmish flavor than an army of guys in greatcoats, although a few of them would certainly mix in okay.

I thought I had seen a sled somewhere but I couldn't remember where. Thanks for the link!

Eureka has a brilliant Ney but I'm not sure if he's still available.
I was using a mix of all major 28mm brands and a good chunk of green-stuff to assemble my own retreat from moscow' infantry. Westfalia still has Opolchenie and Cossacks in Winter-garb on the Radar. But then again – we wouldn't do ourself or the community a favor to re-release existing sets.

We certainy will see 1 or 2 sets of miniatures that go along with the sleigh.

I have been thinking that skirmish gaming the Retreat would be really fun using Sharp Practice. Lots of interesting scenarios to be gamed IMO.

Check with Robert at Eureka USA. He might have some. I received a Ney figure from him with an order. robwalter556@yahoo.com

Have you seen the sudden planned expansion of the Perry range of Retreat from Moscow? Check their metal workbench forum. The pictures are just amazing. The sculpture of the windblown coats and cloaks is very like the current UK climate pre Easter, never mind the Berezina.

The Ney figure is available, I just got some in the other day. They will be up on the website under Napoleon..Ney/Napoleon figures. Both of these figures were given to pre registrants at HMGS conventions.

In response to the 79th PA's original question, Front Rank has figures suitable for retreat from Russia.

I know it's a while since this was posted, but there are now also Murawski Miniatures Polish troops on the 'retreat from Moscow' theme:
