Lots of good pics of Free Syrian Army fighters and battlegrounds. No political statement implied – also, there are dead bodies and people in pain, but not a huge amount of gore or mutilation, as far as I can tell. link |

I got them okay….really neat photos, good quality too.
I noticed many of the Free Syrian Army wearing headbands of matching colors, as recognition/field signs.

Yes, I noticed both headbands and a lot armbands. I guess the pink and purple cloth helps you stand out. |

Sorry, folks – I don't know why it's working for some and not others. It's a CNN site, search their photo galleries for 'showdown in syria'. What makes me crazy is that 'download this image' when I rightclick is disabled. |

Some really good photos of some really nasty stuff. Urban warfare is one of the uglier faces of modern conflicts. What will happen when (if) somebody wins? Who and how can they rebuild? It is like they went from cradle of civilization to crater of civilization. |
