Your basic Prisoner of Zenda type cavalry. Dolman, Dolman and pelisse, Attila jacket, etc.
They're all good.
They are for my Slobbovian GASLIGHT army, ca 1885.

I use foundy FPW and westwind Zenda range. In the moviemwith stuart ganger have they actually mounted chasseurs de afrique. So foundry or old glory boxer war range. In the great race and the peter sellers version are prussian hussas used. The northstar 1866 range has in the austrian hussars range some fantastic individuals.

Or take then perry plastic french napolionic and start to build something with your leftover kepis from your acw packs….

I used finally foundry and 1866 with foto etched parts of 1/32 uniform decals to upgrade them… The westwind zenda range is a must anyway…

Greetings

Foundry FPW or the North Star 1866 Austrians,

I used Foundry FPW Prussian hussars for my 1897 Greek cavalry, and filed the busbys down into kepis. It looked better than using the French hussars, somehow. That was back in the Good Old Days, when I could buy French horses separately and use them because they looked more Greek.

I like the looks of the North Star Austrians. They have the Slobbovian feel to them.
The female ones appeal to me too.
