any pro or cons that anyone can share? I watched this: link so it seem completely doable but since i have not used anything beyond instamold not sure if it is worth getting this and being able to reuse it big plus! or what |

Stuff looks pretty rigid when set. Might be difficult to unmold castings vice the rubbery Instamold. |

I got and used some of that same stuff to attempt to make a mold of some pieces I was repeating on my terrain. As Rubber Suit Theatre mentions above, it is INCREDIBLY rigid when set and is, as such, INCREDIBLY difficult to demold your castings without causing damage. However, if you use it as the casting material instead , combined with an "instant mold" mold, you'd have yourself some very nice, hard plastic casts (instead of resin/epoxy/greenstuff casts). |

didnt think of using it for casting really, but hmm. I want to make wall pieces with it or really big terrain pieces, do u think it would be serviceable for that? Also is it possible to "melt" it and easy extract the cast? since u can reeuse the stuff trying to determine if its worth a try or not |

I wonder though, since you heat it to 150 degrees, would it melt or deform a mold made of Instamold when used as a casting material? |

that a good question, i may have to pass. |
