Very cool! Is the helmet a little over sized? |

Rodrick, you've done it again! Wonderful stuff. I want a hundred. Seriously. |

Yes the helmet is a bit over sized. That happens when sculpting in a vacuum. I'm left with the dilemma of leaving it be or resculpting, molding and casting it again. It's a separate piece that is just drilled and dropped onto a pin at the neck. So it wouldn't be a whole lot of extra work, just damned frustrating. |

Well, you could always save that large helmet in case you make any Darktroopers somewhere down the distant road. :) I wonder if the new "management" for the franchise will change your odds of getting a workable license? Even if the entire 15mm community built Hoth-size armies, I still doubt you'd put a dent in Fantasy Flight's business. But it would be nice if you could get a personal take of it as well as the charitable donation. Heck, the entire Etsy community would explode if the Mouse issued low-volume handcraft licenses. And it certainly wouldn't hurt their image as a corporation. But that's probably a bit much to expect from a company who primarily operates on a mid-20th century business model. :) -Chris K. |

What about shrinking it with a mold? Not sure how much metal shinks but resin might work. That would get you a new master without having to sculpt it again. |

Looks nice. I'd release two scales, e.g. 15mm and 20mm, so you can use the helmet as is too. |

Very nice, and extremely useful figure! I bet when you see it in 15mm the head won't appear over-scale. |
| Umpapa | 07 Feb 2013 1:08 p.m. PST |
Yeah figure is wonderful, just this helemet is a bit to big
Hovever I am sure many people would love to buy such head-only sets to put them on their GZG/RM/KM stuff. |
| OctaChaz | 07 Feb 2013 5:16 p.m. PST |
The helmet doesn't appear oversized to me, not to the point where I wouldn't order any if/when they become available. Need to find some suitable rebels now! |
| Kyn ell | 07 Feb 2013 7:19 p.m. PST |
Superb, the helmet doesn't bother me. More "not" Star wars please! |

Looks great, and the head is ok with me too. |
| viper1959 | 08 Feb 2013 3:26 p.m. PST |
Wow, thats nice, ok they gave this recuit the wrong size hat, I would'nt mind a few dozen of them, nice work! anyway the helmet is the right size, he just lie'd about his age when he signed up
lol. |

I think it's just the angle in the photo. I'd bet the helmet is a fine fit. Very cool! Thanks, John |

These will come in like 20 packs, right? |
