Has anyone written and gamed historical army lists and scenarios using the battlesystem rules? How would one go about making an Early Imperial Roman army for example?

I've never heard of it being done, but seems like it wouldn't be difficult.

There might be a list in the 2nd Ed. Imperial Rome splat book. (Yes, they made an "Imperial Rome" splat book for D&D. They used to be cool.) If I can remember, I'll see if I can find my copy.

OK, I was right. The book you want is "The Glory of Rome" Campaign Sourcebook. It's HR5 in the 2d Ed. splat book series (one of the green ones). ISBN 1-56076-673.

I can't post the details here, because the Battlesystem chapter includes Rome and a bunch of her enemies — you'll want to track down your own copy. (That and it's #5 in the historical series! You're probably looking for more books than this one.)
