Hahah
.. Paris is always worth a vist. There is a super big modelstore close to hotel de vile / chatelle metro station. You have another one in the station midi/ south train station. The best ( in the world)shop for tanks for in 25mm is in pasage de charolais 10. link Between the metro station sorbonne and maubert are several game stores around the univercity. Here are also very good book stores. In the swiss art village is FG miniatures the last and best store for historical minis. Around him are art stores and stores for real historic artefacts. You can walk this from the dome des invalides if you are tough. But the museum shop of the dome des invalides is also very good. A little bit outside is decatres, but i think they have changed name but they are still there. link I normaly take a taxi and dump my wife a galleries lafayette at place hausmann around 9am. That departmenstore and printams will keep them busy for 2 days. So i do my trip around the stores. It is a real consideration to rent a taxi with diver for the whole day
Let him wait in front of your store and deposit your goods in the taxi aslong you are buying in the next store. It is very difficult to call a taxi in paris from the road and you wil buy a lot. The game stores close all at 6pm
Travell between location is 45min to 1h.. So you better hurry. It is a tour de force
:)))
It is a advise. Make sure you have enough cash as your creditcard might have limited credit in france. Raise the limit before or take serveral with you. Greetings and have fun |

Great advice If your family has not seen the Louvre it can also consume a day (and much easier on your pocketbook than Galleries Lafayette) If you have not seen the Musee d'Armee it is worth a look! |

Unless you find something really unique, I wouldn't buy too much hobby related stuff in Paris. Remember that you've got to get it home and since just about everything in Paris is expensive, I'd expect hobby related stuff is also. I don't know what prices are like where you live, but they are probably lower than what you'll find in Paris. |

Or at the Forum des Halles, shops on three levels underground it looks specially designed as a national park for wives where they can roam free in their natural biotope for days. But DON'T go in there yourself or you'll come out with new clothes. You have been warned. |
